What do I need for my first appointment?
All you need to bring is yourself, and clothes that are loose fitting/ non-restrictive (jeans are discouraged). Any medical information that you would like to share with your practitioner will be discussed during your first visit.
Is Osteopathy Covered by insurance?
Yes, Osteopathy is covered by nearly all major insurance companies in Ontario. We encourage you to check and see what your allotted coverage is for treatment with your insurance company before your first visit.
Do you direct bill?
Yes. Our reception team can process direct billing with insurance providers who offer this service.
What conditions can osteopathy help with?
Osteopathy can assist with a wide variety of conditions. Here are some examples:

What can I expect on my first visit?
Your practitioner will go over your medical history and answer any questions you may have about osteopathic treatments.
Do I need a referral from a physician for osteopathic treatment?
No.
How long are treatments?
Treatments typically range from 25-30 minutes. Your first visit however is usually 45 minutes long. This extra time is utilized to go over any previous medical conditions during an interview/ intake.
How many treatments do I need?
This question is entirely variable from person to person. Some people may require more treatment than others, based on how long the duration of a condition has been. Generally speaking, it is not uncommon to notice signs of relief after 2-3 treatments. If you have had 3+ treatments with no signs of relief… osteopathy may not be the right treatment for you.
How can I book a treatment?
Treatments can be booked online, or via phone with reception.
Is osteopathy safe for children, seniors, and pregnant invidviduals?
Yes! Not only is treatment safe, but it is benefical for children, seniors, and pregnant individuals!
Are there any side effects of treatment?
Some people may experience some soreness after treatment… but this usually goes away within 1-2 days as your body is adjusting to the treatment.
