About David Harris

David has been dedicated to healthcare for nearly a decade, with a strong passion for helping others feel and function at their best. After completing his Bachelor of Health Science with Honours at Ontario Tech University, David went on to study at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, where he earned his Master in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc). For the past three years, he has been practicing as an osteopathic manual practitioner, offering hands-on, whole-body care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

He currently treats at Spinewise in Bowmanville. Before entering private practice, David spent nearly six years working in Ontario’s public healthcare system at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Lakeridge Gardens Long Term Care facility. This experience gave him valuable insight into the inner workings of the healthcare system and deepened his understanding of patient care across various stages of life.

Clinically, David treats a wide range of conditions, including lower back pain, sciatica, shoulder injuries, and headaches. He also has experience supporting pregnant individuals, athletes recovering from injuries, people dealing with chronic strain from desk jobs, seniors, and even newborns. His treatments are rooted in a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, and guided by a genuine commitment to helping his patients move and feel better.

David’s passion for healthcare began in high school after a visit to Sunnybrook Hospital, where he heard inspiring recovery stories from patients with life-altering conditions. That moment sparked a calling that has shaped his career ever since. Today, his mission remains the same: to provide compassionate, effective care that empowers people to live pain-free, healthy lives.
